A member of Helena's CSI division was witness to the escaping pair of crooks, as he was thrown clear of his wheelchair.
While the two fleeing criminals was witnessed by a noticeably shaken Investigator Julian Dickson who was left bruised with a head wound from where he was knocked from his wheelchair and hit the ground has refused to say anything about his own injuries he has stated that he gave a statement to the police including a description of the two individuals who the police want to contact as soon as possible. His wheelchair has also been surrendered with a second replacement wheelchair given to him temporarily to allow for the collection of any forensic evidence
Also dropped was a polaroid photo of a known former western trained horse Kremos, who was stolen in 1997 from his pasture. It's not known if the two crimes are now connected and there have not been any comment on this from the police force.
A statement has been given on the description of two subjects who are wanted by the police in connection with the incident. Both individuals are described as white, male, one in his mid twenties the other late twenties early thirties. One male was wearing a black hoody top, black jeans and had a brown canvas bag on his back. He was seen wearing trainers, with the laces undone, and was also noted to have a beard. The second individual was wearing a red Nike hoody top unzipped with a black t-shirt underneath, dark blue jeans and red trainers. He wasn't seen to be wearing a bag and is thought to have been the one to have pushed Julian's wheelchair over.
Both the photograph and the wheelchair are being checked for forensic evidence.
